Fair City have responded to the petition to end the Katy kidnapping storyline.
Earlier this week, a man called William Thomas started a petition to end the storyline, and it’s received over 7,000 signatures.
And now, the people behind the soap have finally responded to the petition, but not in the way you might think.
Taking to Twitter, they posted a video promising to “free Katy”, but there’s a catch, as they’ll only free her if people vote for former Fair City star Aoibhin Garrihy in the final of Dancing With The Stars this weekend.
