Doing up the house, Pilates and Rosanna Davison: Hazel O'Sullivan's EXCLUSIVE column

Hey all!

Hope you’ve all had an amazing week it’s been a busy one for me!

Between work projects, venturing into new fitness avenues and trying to finish on going house renovations it’s been non stop for me.

So as much as I wish I was a natural born gym bunny, I’m not!! I struggle to make it to the gym and find it next to impossible to maintain a regular diet/exercise regime.

I’ve been known in the past to sign up for gym memberships and watch my monthly direct debit payments basically get flushed down the toilet, completely wasted as I never end up committing to my fleeting gym ambitions!

So after much research I decided to give pilates a whirl !

Off I went to my local Pilates studio and I have to say I’m a little annoyed that I didn’t realise how effective this form of exercise was before now.

I didn’t feel as though I was about to pass out as I would on a treadmill and after completing the session I didn’t feel as though I never wanted to return.

I felt it worked well and was surprisingly exciting for my next visit!

Hey if this is what gives Rossana Davison her amazing body then I’m all for giving it a go!

Speaking of The former Miss World, an article caught my eye on goss.ie on this week, apparently she has been feeling as though people’s general perception of her is that she is precious and spoilt.

To give credit where it’s due she has worked her butt off since her miss world days and is a constant prominent feature in showbiz world!

Having been in the industry myself for almost eight years now I know that people are very quick to label you, unfortunately there is not much you can do about people’s opinions, when you place yourself in the public eye you open yourself up to a world of judgement and sometimes the worst thing you can do is think too much about what others think of you!

All I can say is just keep doing you.

With the gorgeous Fran and Nicola, Dan’s two sister in law

It was a night of celebration last night at my bestie Dan’s, let’s say thirty-something birthday – what a great night, we had a disco dome bouncy castle, boxes upon boxes of dominos pizza to go round, all washed down with more than enough alcohol and plenty of dancing!!

Another night to remember!

I am currently in the finishing stages of doing the house up, at times it has felt almost like a demanding full time job, but we are nearly there! There’s nothing quite like seeing your vision come to life, it really makes the stress seem all worth it!

Untill next time, have a great week and don’t forget to check in every Sunday to see what I’ve been up to !

Hazel xx
