Despite having performed with some of the worlds biggest artists, Gavin James has revealed he suffers crippling stage fright.
The 24-year-old, who is currently in Dublin for a run of sold-out shows in the Olympia, admitted if he didn’t get anxious before a gig it would be weird.
“I get really quiet and I can’t think or talk or anything at all,” he said.

“I usually just go into hiding in a room, I get so nervous… [I get] massive stage fright.
“It doesn’t matter where the gig is or where I’m playing, it’s the same nerves. I think it would be weird if I didn’t get it,” he told the Herald.
The single singer-songwriter previously admitted to Goss.ie he wanted to join online dating app Tinder.
