Kirsten Dunst suddenly bursted into tears on the red carpet in Cannes.
The actress was walking the carpet with Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning at the premiere for The Beguiled when she became “overcome with emotion.”
She suddenly started crying, catching the attention of paparazzi who quickly snapped photos of the unexpected scene.
However, it thankfully looks like Dunst was just crying tears of joy, as she was seen smiling with director Sofia Coppola soon after while wiping away any excess tears.

Kirsten was promoting her movie, The Beguiled, which tells the story of an injured solider, who is played by Colin Farrell, who seeks shelter in an all girls’ boarding school.
As the drama unfolds Colin’s character tries to win the hearts of the women who nurse him.
But dangerous rivalries begin to form between the women (played by Kirsten, Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman) as a result of jealousy.
