PAWS up who wants a cuppa? Amanda Brunker launches new charity campaign

Novelist and TV personality Amanda Brunker was on hand to launch the first ever PAWS for a Cuppa Campaign.

Amanda, who is an ambassador for the charity, launched the campaign with some of her furry four-legged friends.

The Cuppa Campaign encourages the public to hold a tea party to help raise much needed funds for PAWS Animal Rescue.

Appealing to dog-lovers nationwide to get behind this canine campaign, the bubbly columnist hopes the public will do what they can to help the animal rescue.

Speaking at the launch, Amanda said: “Gina and the rest of the wonderful people at PAWS work so hard rescuing and rehoming dogs every single day of the year.”

“Taking just an hour or two out of your busy schedule to host a tea party might not seem like a big thing to you, but believe me when I say that every cent raised at a PAWS for a Cuppa tea party will go towards helping this fantastic animal charity continue its good work,” she added.

The launch of the campaign comes after the TV star’s TV3 series, Danger – Amanda at Work aired earlier this year.

In the show, the ex-Miss Ireland tried out some of the toughest jobs in Ireland for the four part series as she attempted to get an insight into contemporary Ireland.
