She’s an international star thanks to her leading role in the music video for Blurred Lines – but Emily Ratajkowski prefers Cork to Hollywood.

The Californian model, who now stars in Ben Affleck’s latest movie Gone Girl, revealed she visits Cork all the time.

“My parents have been coming here every year for years, thirty years this year actually. I spend a lot of time here,” she said.

“I was in Bantry, Cork all week, it’s the most beautiful place in the world,” she added.

Emily even revealed she said her very first words in Ireland.

“I walked for the first time here and said my first words. I was looking at cows and then suddenly I said ‘there they go.’

Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on RTE’s Late Late Show, Emily said she sometimes has an Irish accent after a few drinks.

“Sometimes if I’m in the pub with a few pints I can have an Irish brogue,” she explained.

And people will be like ‘didn’t you say you were from California?,” she laughed.

Emily even brought a group of close friends from Bantry to the talk show, and revealed she was so excited to meet Mary Black, who sang on the show.
