James Corden has paid a moving tribute to George Michael on his show.
The superstar passed away on Christmas Day this year and he was the first celebrity to ever take part in James’ Carpool Karaoke.
The Brit credits the success of Carpool Karaoke to the former Wham! frontman, “We all have so much to thank him for. For the music that he’s given that will last forever.”

Speaking on his CBS show, the host continues, “But we personally here at this show owe him so much.”
James also details the first time he and George made contact – with a phone call from George at 3am.
