Johnny Depp hits back at claims he spends ‘$30k a month’ on WINE

Johnny Depp has hit back at his former management team for choosing a “blame the victim” defence, as he’s currently in the process of suing them for mismanaging his income.

In legal documents obtained by Deadline.com, it was revealed that the Pirates of the Caribbean star spends approximately $2 million every month, and has spent over $75m on 14 homes, and $30k a MONTH on imported wine.

After Johnny decided to sue The Management Group for $25 million, they decided to countersue the actor as they claim that he is “fully responsible for any financial turmoil” that he may be facing.

Responding to their claims, Johnny’s attorney released a statement condemning The Management Group’s “blame the victim” defence.

The statement, obtained by People Magazine, said that TMG, “have chosen to employ a reprehensible ‘blame the victim’ strategy in a transparent attempt to save their own skin and deflect away from their malfeasance, which is chronicled in Mr. Depp’s 48-page complaint.”

“Mr. Depp did not sure his former business managers for his own personal investment decisions or the ‘financial distress’ they wildy allege – Mr. Depp sued them for fraud and multiple breaches of their fiduciary duty, among other claims,” Johnny’s attorney added.
