Perrie Edwards reveals how her heartbreak has helped fans

The singer feels like an 'agony aunt'

Perrie Edwards has revealed how her heartbreak, following her split from Zayn Malik, has helped her fans.

The Little Mix star co-wrote the massive hit song, Shout Out To My Ex, and many have assumed that the song is a dig at her ex-fiancé.

“I’m like an agony aunt. I feel amazing, I can’t get enough of it,” she said.

The 23-year-old admitted that it’s not only women who are loving the song, but guys are coming up to her about Shout Out To My Ex as well.

“So many people approach me at nightclubs saying, ‘You changed my life, I’ve never felt better,'” she told the Daily Star.

“Or, ‘I got dumped two weeks ago and your song makes me feel great.’ Guys too have told me they put the song on repeat to help them.

“Glory Days is a love and heartbreak album. Now women, older women too, randomly come up to tell me their problems. It makes you feel good.”

Perrie can give one final shout out to her ex as she moves on with a new man, footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
