Zayn Malik has fired back at some viscous trolls on Twitter in the BEST way, after his girlfriend Gigi Hadid was heavily criticised by fans on social media for allegedly making fun of Asians in an Instagram video.
The model came under fire after she was seen in her sister Bella’s Instagram story holding up a Buddha cookie and squinted her eyes to impersonate the face, but the video has since been deleted.
After Gigi suffered a wave of abuse online accusing her of racism – her former One Direction star boyfriend came to her defence.
After someone tweeted, “being of Asian descent, how do you feel about your girlfriend making fun of Asian people?” at Zayn, he cheekily replied, “trust me.. she likes asians ;).”

The singer later added even more fuel to the fire by hitting out at trolls for calling HIM a racist, as he’s previously been labelled “a terrorist” due to his ethnicity.
“People’s nerve to call me ignorant, when any chance they get I’m a terrorist!! to be a racist goes against my very existence.”
“So please don’t try to educate me,” he added.
