Beyoncé makes cancer patient’s dream come true

Beyoncé made a teenage cancer patient’s dream come true by FaceTiming her this week.

Ebony Banks is a rare stage four cancer patient, who has been residing at the MD Anderson Cancer Center for the majority of her final year in high school.

However, it wasn’t her typical day on Wednesday as she received a very special call from one of the world’s biggest superstars. after her schoolmates at Alief Hastings High School in Houston created a social media hashtag #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE as a graduation present.

“Beyonce is one of her idols. She admires her so much, so we’re trying to put that on Twitter and Instagram to get Beyonce’s attention,” student Karina Gutierrez told KTRK-TV.

Sure enough, the hashtag caught Beyoncé’s attention – and she surprised Ebony with a FaceTime call.

In a picture shared on Twitter, Ebony can be seen talking to Queen Bey on FaceTime, and says, “I love you Beyoncé,” to which Beyoncé replies, “I love you” and waves to the camera.

Students at the high school still can’t believe they attracted Beyoncé’s attention, with one senior saying, “It was like wow, it really happened. We actually got her attention!”
