Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles has confirmed that the superstar has given birth to twins.
He took to Twitter to post a photo which reads, “Happy Birthday to the twins! Love Granddad.”
The Houston native captioned the photo, “They’re here!”, and proceeded to hashtag Beyoncé, Jay Z and the word twins.
A source previously told People magazine, “Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends.”

Matthew is the first family member to confirm the birth of the twins.
But, it was confirmed by US media publications Entertainment Weekly, Us Weekly and People.
The magazines confirmed that the pop star had given birth, but the date of birth and gender of the babies is still unknown.
Queen Bey announced in February with an extravagant Instagram post that she and Jay Z were expanding their family.
