Kourtney Kardashian has come under fire after posting a photo with her daughter Penelope to Instagram over the weekend.
The snapshot showed the four-year-old wearing a fake lip ring which was given to her by aunt Kim.
“Our Oscar Sunday. Yes, that’s a lip ring. Thanks @kimkardashian,” Kourtney captioned the photo, which showed mother and daughter in bed together.
The 36-year-old was wearing a bath robe in the selfie, while little Penelope rested her head against her mother’s shoulder.
Fans were quick to lash out in the comments section, with one writing, “You got your little daughter a lip ring? And parent of the year goessss to.”
“She is a little girl why rushing her to grow up by putting on a lip ring?” someone else wrote, while another added, “When I was her age I wasn’t even allowed to wear nail polish.”
Kourtney is yet to respond to the comments, but Kim has been sporting a similar fake lip ring regularly in recent weeks.
