Kanye West has been been missing from the spotlight in recent weeks – and now the reason behind his mysterious absence has been revealed.
The rapper is working on his new album, but instead of making music at a recording studio near one of his homes Los Angeles or New York, he is connecting with nature.
According to TMZ, Kanye is keeping a low profile at a mountaintop retreat in Wyoming in order to get some inspiration.

The star has apparently been spending lots of time at the secluded spot and is on his second visit there, having arrived about a week ago.
Sources told TMZ that Kanye’s trip was not prompted by any problems at home with Kim Kardashian, but is simply to help him create new music.
The news comes after the Famous hit-maker skipped the Met Gala last week, leaving his reality star wife to walk the red carpet alone for the first time.

Kim said that Kanye was at home and had been enjoying some time off, although there were rumours he was annoyed over the recent release of her unairbrushed bikini photos.
Kanye also deleted his Twitter and Instagram pages, which it now seems was prompted by his desire to switch off in Wyoming.
He went offline on the same day his pricey children’s clothing line with Kim, called The Kids Supply, was released.
