Gal Gadot has welcomed her second child into the world.
The Wonder Woman star announced on Instagram on Monday that she has given birth to a baby daughter, and revealed the little girl’s name.
“And then we were four… She is here, Maya,” she wrote. “I feel so complete blessed and thankful for all the Wonders in my life.”
The black and white snapshot was taken from behind and showed Gal and husband Yaron Varsano holding hands as their eldest child pushed her new little sister in a stroller.
Gal and Yaron married in 2008 and welcomed their first daughter Alma in 2011. They announced in November that they were expecting another baby.
Gal shared a sweet message to fans on Instagram a few days before giving birth, posting a picture which showed her cradling her stomach in a Wonder Woman T-shirt.
“With the daily routine of life, family and work I’m distracted all day long,” she wrote. “Today I had a moment with myself when I was looking out the window at the beautiful clear blue sky and realized that I’m 9 months (!!!) pregnant and soon will have a new lovepup as an addition to our family.
“Could not be more grateful to the universe . Sending you guys some positive gratitude energies.”
As well as a newborn to keep her busy, the 31-year-old’s much anticipated standalone Wonder Woman film will be released on June 2nd.
Gal first appeared as the character in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and will be reprising the role in Justice League later this year.
