George Clooney has spoken about becoming a father for the first time.
It was recently revealed that the Hollywood heart-throb and his wife Amal Clooney were expecting twins.
The actor has opened up about his upcoming adventure, “I just saw that Belmondo had a child at 70 so I feel good about myself at 56. Look, it’s exciting and we’re really happy and really excited.”

The 56-year-old also told Laurent Weil on his French programme Rencontres de Cinema, “It’s going to be an adventure and we’ve sort of embraced all the adventures along the way with arms wide open so we’re excited.
“My favourite part is that all my friends, who are my age and I have many of them, have already done it. Their kids are all grown up and going off to college and they’re laughing.”
The Hollywood icon also revealed that his friends are teasing him about what he’s in for.

“You know, we were all sitting together the other night, a table of eight guys, and all their kids are away in college and we’re sitting there and they’re all being very supportive.
“They’re saying, ‘It’ll be fine, it’s great, you’re going to love it’, then it got really quiet, and they all just started making baby cry noises. And the whole table just busted up laughing.
“It’s going to change a lot of things but that’s okay, that’s life.”
