Ariel Winter has often talked about the importance of learning to love your body.
So the actress had some stern words for people who slammed her latest revealing outfit.
Ariel was mocked for being “overdressed” to attend an event with her Modern Family co-stars, who were all clad in casual outfits, while one social media user went so far as to claim she was trying “to look slutty”.
The 19-year-old wore an eye-popping gold embellished mini-dress with cut-outs across the chest and thighs, and took to Instagram to declare that she didn’t see what all the fuss was about.

“Why TF does anyone care that I didn’t dress casual like everyone else for the panel?” she shared. “Why do I have to be like everyone else?
“Why can’t people just let other people feel good about themselves and do what they want? WEAR WHATEVER YOU WANT PEOPLE!”
Ariel added: “As long as you feel good about yourself that’s what matters. I know I did. Don’t ever let anyone stifle who you are and how you express yourself. Rant over :)”
The teen, who underwent a breast reduction in 2015, has praised her Modern Family co-star Sofia Vergara with helping her to embrace her curves.
