Katy Perry has insisted her split from Orlando Bloom was amicable, and now it has emerged that the pair are keeping in touch.
A source has told E! News that the former couple, who broke up at the end of last month after one year together, “still text and talk”.
The insider also revealed that they may give their relationship another shot in future, saying Orlando “is just not ready for a serious relationship, but getting back together with Perry is not out of the question.”

The source added: “He cares deeply for Perry and they have a very carefree dynamic with each other. They are both free spirits.”
Orlando and Katy’s split announcement came after LAgoss.com exclusively published photos and videos of the British actor laughing and whispering with Erin McCabe at a pre-Oscars party.
“Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time,” they said in a joint statement.
A few days later, Katy tweeted, “HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017?! U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one’s a victim or a villain, get a life y’all!”
