Katy Perry is getting fans extremely excited on social media.
The pop star teased her new song Bon Appétit by sharing a recipe for the “World’s Best Cherry Pie”, first in her newsletter and then on Twitter and Instagram.
“Bake me a pie and you may get a surprise,” she posted, along with the recipe which included some unusual instructions.

Fans have speculated that the lines “Calm those hungry eyes,” and “This pie is gonna hit that sweet tooth, boy,” could be lyrics, and that the track may be released this week.
Katy debuted a sneak peek of the song last month in an Instagram story, and Ariana Grande is rumoured to feature on it.
Bon Appétit comes on the heels of the success of Chained to the Rhythm, which came out in February and reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Both of the songs are set to be included on the singer’s upcoming and much-anticipated fourth full studio album.
