The Time 100 Gala honoured the 100 Most Influential People for 2017.
But many of the famous and powerful guests also proved that they are the most stylish stars around.
Viola Davis dazzled on the red carpet in a tight purple gown complete with a train, while Ashley Graham showed some skin in a plunging back number with a thigh-high split.

Demi Lovato, who took the stage during the evening to perform her hit song Confident, cut a sexy figure on the red carpet in an extremely low-cut blue dress.
Meanwhile the relationship and friendship goals were off the charts when Chrissy Teigen and John Legend posed for a photo with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
The men – who were both on TIME’s prestigious list – looked dapper in classic tuxedos, while Chrissy dazzled in a slit gold gown and Blake took the plunge in a black and floral creation with sheer sleeves.
John graces the cover of one of the magazine’s special edition issues, and he also took the stage to perform at the bash.
And Viola Davis delivered another powerful speech to the crowd as she gave a toast, saying, “Everybody in this room, I’m sure at some point, has gone through something in their lives, and you survived it.
“But not only did you survive it, you took that trauma, and that hurt, that revelation, or whatever it was, and you used it to connect, to give, to influence, to help, and that is the beauty and the purpose of what we are here on this Earth to do.”
