One group of high school students were in for a big shock on Thursday when they received a surprise visit from Selena Gomez.
The actress and singer is the new face of Coach and made the visit through The Coach Foundation’s national charity partner Step Up.
Selena inspired young girls to “dream big” as she spread messages of empowerment while chatting to and taking photos with the students.
The 24-year-old told the group to “love yourself first”, and encouraged them to be comfortable getting to know her during the visit, but joked “most of you know most of my life anyway”.
“@instagram is celebrating world kindness day and I got to spend it with people who fully will change our world one day,” Selena wrote on Instagram afterwards.
“@coach introduced me to @stepupwomensnetwork which is an after school organization that encourages girls to believe that they have the capability to do anything they set their mind to.”
Selena added: “It’s crazy to me how much they are willing put others before themselves. #CoachXStepUP #DreamBig.”
