Reese Witherspoon turned 41 on Thursday and had her family by her side for the celebrations.
The actress shared Instagram photos from her evening, including one with her lookalike children Ava and Deacon.
“There’s nothing better than celebrating my birthday with my wonderful kids! #ProudMom,” Reese captioned the smiling snapshot.
The Big Little Lies star was also given an elaborate birthday cake that was decorated with all different colours of roses, sparklers and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Ava shared a picture of her mother being presented with the cake on Instagram, sweetly writing, “happy birthday to one of my best friends.”
Earlier in the day Reese had posted a photo of herself in a specially made dress from her Draper James brand, while holding pink and white balloons.
“Feeling so much birthday love today! Thank you!!! I am one lucky gal (Even @draperjames made me my own dress!)” the birthday girl wrote.
Reese shares 17-year-old Ava and 13-year-old with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, who she married in 1999 and separated from in 2006.
The 41-year-old and current husband Jim Toth will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary this weekend and they share four-year-old son Tennessee.
