Adam Devine and Hailee Steinfeld ensured the MTV Movie and TV Awards started with a bang.
The comedian, who was hosting the ceremony, opened the show in character as the Beast, before delivering an elaborate Beauty and the Beast parody.
Adam declared that he needed a Belle, and Hailee whipped off her coat to reveal a stunning yellow dress underneath.

And perhaps the best part of the whole thing was Emma Watson’s adorable reaction as she watched from the crowd.
Rebel Wilson also dressed in a teapot costume to become Mrs Potts and sang her own version of the lyrics to Tale as Old as Time, and Josh Gad joined in as his character LeFou.
Millie Bobby Brown, Chrissy Metz, Blake Anderson and Mike Colter also made appearances in the number, which ended with fire surrounding the stage and Adam swinging from a chandelier.
