WATCH: Ashley Graham comments on Kendall Jenner’s ‘unfortunate’ Pepsi ad

Ashley Graham thinks Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi advert was “unfortunate”.

The supermodel appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday, and admitted that if she was in the 21-year-old’s shoes, she doesn’t think her team would have let her go ahead with it.

“I think my team probably would have nipped it in the bud before anything happened,” she said when a caller rang in to ask her thoughts on the controversy.

“It’s unfortunate that that happened, but hey, she’s moving forward. I was very shocked. I was very surprised that no one said, ‘Hey, this looks like a bad idea right here.’”

The commercial showed Kendall joining a protest where she gave a can of Pepsi to a police officer, and cheered along with the rest of the crowd when he took a sip.

The advert was released in April but quickly pulled after social media users accused the company of trivialising police brutality protests and movements such as Black Lives Matter.

During her WWHL appearance Ashley was also asked if she would model in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

“Victoria’s Secret, call me!” she said. “I will walk your runway, I will wear those wings, honey. And I will wear it with confidence!”

Ashley became the first plus-sized model to land a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover in 2016 and is currently on the America’s Next Top Model judging panel.
