Hollywood stars Keira Knightley and Adam Levine are set to come to Ireland next month, Goss.ie can reveal.

The British actress and Maroon 5 singer are in talks to attend the opening of the Galway Film Fleadh on July 8.

Organisers have picked their movie – Begin Again – to open the prestigious festival after it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.

Now Goss.ie understands that both stars are set to attend the screening, with details being hammered out at present.

A spokesman confirmed: “We are looking into getting them, it’s impossible to definitely know at present but we hope they will be here.” He added that an official announcement would be made when they are confirmed.

It will be a big coup for the Galway Film Fleadh when the stars come, who are expected to be joined by a few other minor actors in the film.
