Atomic Kitten planning HUGE comeback

Atomic Kitten are planning a comeback, which is set to include an album and a world tour.

Natasha Hamilton, Kerry Katona and Liz McClarnon have penned a bank of songs ready to release to mark their 20th anniversary in 2019.

This will be the first new music released by the group in 16 years.

Natasha Hamilton told The Sun, “This is what I do, it’s what I love. I’ve been writing songs for years and every time I play Kerry a new song, she’s like, ‘We have to record that as the Kittens.’

“Of course, it’s a lot harder when you’ve got families to consider, but if we get enough songs together to release a solid album, we will do it.

“This year is 18 years of Atomic Kitten – we’re not going to jump on the 20th anniversary bandwagon just yet, but that give us two years. It gives me and the girls enough time to write a few belters.”

The band originally formed in 1997 with Liz McClarnon, Kerry Katona and a 15-year-old Heidi Range who left due to artistic differences before the band secured a record deal.

Their song Whole Again is the fourth best-selling single in the UK by a girlband.
