Johnny Logan to join fellow Eurovision winners for special show

Irish singer and composer Johnny Logan is set to join other winners of the Eurovision Song Contest throughout the competition’s history for a special show in Germany next year.

The two time Eurovision winner will take part in the show which will apparently be “the biggest ESC concert ever”, taking place at Dortmund’s massive Westfalenhallen on Saturday March 26.

Previous winners that will join Johnny are Bucks Fizz (United Kingdom 1980), Loreen (Sweden 2012), Nicole (Germany 1982), The Herreys (Sweden 1984) and Sandra Kim (Belgium 1986) among many others.

Johnny won the hugely popular contest in 1980 with What’s Another Year and again in 1987 with Hold Me Now, he also composed Linda Martin’s 1992 winning song Why Me?

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden in May.
