A charity single to raise money for those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire has been released.
Major artists such as Liam Payne, Robbie Williams, Leona Lewis, Stormzy and Rita Ora recorded a cover of Simon and Garfunkel classic Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Simon Cowell, who lives in the same London borough as Grenfell Tower, announced plans to organise the charity single last week.
At least 79 people are missing, and presumed dead, after the devastating blaze.
The single opens with a rap verse by Stormzy, “I don’t know where to begin / So I’ll start by saying I refuse to forget you. I refuse to be silenced / I refuse to neglect you.”
“That could have been my mum’s house / Or that could have been my nephew. I just hope that you’re resting and free up there”.
