A number of people have died following a huge explosion at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.
This is a developing story, but so far we know that “a number of people have been killed” and police officers are calling it a “serious incident”.
In a statement, police confirmed that 19 people have died, with over 50 people injured, adding that it is being treated as an act of terrorism.

Thousands of fans attended the gig in the Manchester Arena, and although it’s unclear exactly what happened, reporters have been on the ground sharing updates.

Police confirmed the explosion took place outside the venue, after the concert was over.
Ariana had just played Dublin’s 3 Arena last week.
