U2 announces second dates – but not in Dublin

The band will play Croke Park on July 22nd

U2 have announced second dates for their Joshua Tree 30th Anniversary tour – but not in Dublin.

The internationally popular band will play the city’s Croke Park on July 22nd and have already upset fans about ticket sales.

Despite tickets selling out in just six minutes, a rep for the musicians said that there would not be a second date added for Ireland.

Now, U2 have announced it will play four more gigs in London, Rome, Paris and Amsterdam.

The extra gigs will be at Twickenham, London on July 9, the Olympic Stadium in Rome on July 16, the Stade de France in Paris on July 26 and the Amsterdam Arena on July 30.

Tickets for these show go on sale Monday January 23rd.
