The Saturdays star Una Foden has revealed she wants to leave her bandmates behind – by making a solo record.
The Tipperary singer admitted she would like to use more of her guitar playing skills, after learning to play when she was 13.
And Una, 32, has already lined up a number of writing sessions as she thrives to be more of a credible artist.

She told the Mirror:Â “I’ve been writing loads this year. That’s what I’m going to do over the next few weeks.
“I’ve lots of writing sessions lined up with some really good people. I really want to get back into that because I used to do loads of writing before the band.
“In the future I probably will [make a solo record] but the band is where I am at, at the moment. I’ll be in the band for another few years hopefully.
“Then maybe when I get a bit older I’ll go back to the guitar thing, definitely.”
