Dubliners were rushed out of the Eason’s store on O’Connell Street, after police received a bomb threat.
Customers were forced to leave their flagship store just before 5pm, as part of an evacuation.
A Garda spokesperson told Independent.ie that they received a bomb threat.
“Customers were requested to leave the building shortly before 5pm.
“Armed gardai were then seen entering the premises,” the spokesperson added.
