Anton Savage has revealed that he’s to be the next Evel Knievel – well, almost.
The radio host is joining the Today FM in their dares for the station’s Dare To Care campaign and will attempt a motorcycle jump.
“Well, Evel Knievel may be shooting slightly too high, think more Mongoose in BMX Bandits. That’s kind of where I’m at,” he said.

The presenter announced on his show The Anton Savage Show his ambitious dare and went even one step further asking Today FM’s Dermot Whelan and Dave Moore to join him.
The Dubliner asked the two comedians if they would let him jump over them while on the dirt bike – but the lads have yet accept the kind offer.
Dave has already been dared to ride the famous Cú Chulainn rollercoaster at Tayto Park and the presenter has made no secret of his fear of rollercoasters but gave in after Tayto Park agreed to match the amount he raised.
The radio station has launched their campaign to raise much needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society with Today FM hosts Ian Dempsey being dared to get a tattoo and Matt Cooper writing his own song to perform in Dublin’s Workmans Club next week.
