This Dublin radio station is SERIOUSLY confusing listeners

TXFM is seriously confusing their listeners, by pretending it’s 1991.

The Dublin radio station is doing their show as if it was 25 years ago to this day.

“For one day only, it’s 1991,” the station said.

“You may or may not know that TXFM’s predecessor, Phantom 105.2, basically came into being as a result of two things – The Dave Fanning Show on RTE 2FM in the eighties and nineties, and the world domination of Alternative Rock with the massive success of Nirvana’s Nevermind album,” the station states.

TXFM has gone so far back in time that they’ve even asked listeners to call in with song requests and competition entries – no texts or e-mails today.

People are loving the nostalgic beats from the station and took to Twitter to give the station their support.

Fans of the station were devastated to hear earlier this year that TXFM is set to be shut down.
