Conor McGregor paid tribute to his coach John Kavanagh, as they celebrated his 40th birthday in Dublin last night.

The Crumlin native and the MMA coach have worked together for over 12 years, and they've struck up quite the friendship outside of their professional careers.

Last night, Conor joined John's family at a special surprise party in Dublin, and it definitely looks like it was a night to remember.

Taking to Instagram, Conor posted a snap of himself and John looking dapper, alongside the caption, "Happy birthday Coach Kavanagh we are toasting tonight!"

Simply captioning the snap with a heart emoji, the pair are looking happier than ever as they're set to become first-time parents this year.
