Destiny: The group’s album Destiny is up in the Best World Music Category.

Singer Susan McFadden said, “There’s a lot of the Irish language in the album, which is maybe why it caught the attention of the Grammys academy.

“Because there is a lot of Irish language sang throughout it, which is quite different and unique for the audiences that would buy world music, it’s different for them to hear and to listen to.”

The Irish group have been nominated in the Best World Music Category against four other groups, including Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble for their album Sing Me Home.
