EXCLUSIVE! Lucy Kennedy: ‘Jedward were BULLIED on Celebrity Big Brother’

Lucy Kennedy has admitted that she thinks Jedward were bullied on Celebrity Big Brother.

The mother-of-three spoke to Goss.ie at the Mothercare SS17 launch about the twins who she grew close to on her show, Living With Lucy, when she was pregnant with her third child Jess.

“I wasn’t happy because I think they were bullied,” she said.

The TV3 star revealed that she was glad to see the Dubliners stick up for themselves in the house.

“I thought Big Brother was pretty vicious this year, I felt really sorry for the boys,” she told Goss.ie.

“Obviously I don’t know them as Jedward, I know them as John and Edward – they’re such dotes, I genuinely love them.

“I think I’m a good judge of character and they’re really nice guys. I was glad to see them stick up for themselves in the house. I think they were bullied.”

Lucy also admitted that she thinks Jedward didn’t enjoy their time in the house from what she saw on TV.

“Big Brother is edited and that’s the scary bit about an edited show – someone can make you look like anything,” she explained.

“I don’t even know if the boys enjoyed the experience, I haven’t spoken to them. I’m going to give them a buzz because they want to meet Jess.

“I very much doubt they even enjoyed the experience, it didn’t seem like a nice place.

“I wasn’t mad about the other housemates though – Kim is one scary bird.”

Argument: The presenter was surprised to see Calum and Jedward arguing in the house | TV3

The 40-year-old continued that she was surprised to see Calum and Jedward arguing in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

“I lived with Calum Best for the first season of Living With Lucy, years ago when I did it for RTE – I think once was enough.

“I was quite surprised [to see them argue] because they’re friends in real life. I don’t know about that house – like I said editing is dangerous.

“I’ll be speaking to the boys, they still want to be her godfathers – they are her unofficial godfathers, they’ll do her hair,” she added.
