Miriam O’Callaghan has explained what really happened on her recent trip to Vegas.
The RTE star spoke to Goss.ie at the Seachtain na Gaeilge launch about what really happened after reports came out that she was in Sin City for her daughter’s hen party.
“It wasn’t actually a hen,” she revealed.

Even though her daughter Alannah McGurk is engaged, the broadcaster admitted that she and her daughters journeyed to Vegas for a Celine Dion concert, not a hen party.
“I used to dance around the kitchen singing Celine Dion songs and we always said one day we’d go to Vegas and see Celine Dion,” Miriam revealed to Goss.ie.
“We decided the year that one of the girls is getting married for the first time, we’d go to Vegas so that’s why we went.”

Speaking about her family, the mother-of-eight also revealed that she speaks, “a little Irish at home and I’m always saying, ‘Learn your language, it’s so important.'”
“I talk to my 15 year old on the way to school because he’s doing his junior cert. I think they like it, I think they realise the importance of it,” she added.
