Ryan Tubridy has invited Laura Whitmore to come on to the Late Late Show – after she was “dropped” from the show.
The TV presenter was booked to go on to the popular chat show to speak about her charity work, but said she was later told she couldn’t go on to the show.
Weeks later Katie Hopkins appeared on the show, and Laura was quick to hit out at producers for dropping her charity segment but allowing Katie to go on.
Speaking to Goss.ie, Ryan said he would welcome her on the show any time. (video below)
“I wouldn’t be dealing with Laura at that level so I don’t know what happened there other than to say that I love her,” he said.
“She’s welcome on the show and I hope she comes on some time because she’s fab. That’s all I can say.”
Laura said RTE told her they didn’t like to have too many charity segments on the show, but Ryan said the Late Late always strive to help charities.

“I don’t know the specific details but we do a fair bit of charity work on the Late Late…so that’s not the case necessarily.
“However, I have no doubt we will see Laura in the near future, she will always be welcome into our loving arms,” he added.
