EXCLUSIVE: Twink calls on the Government to force kids to spend five hours a week in a Garda station

Outspoken Twink has called for all children to be made by the Government to spend five hours a week in a Garda station.

The panto queen – real name Adele King – wants youngsters to have to do the compulsory policing education once they hit 10.

The 63-year-old said it should be necessary after seeing firsthand when her dog Teddy Bear went missing how good our cops actually are.

She told Goss.ie: “After days of coffees and chewing gums with guards, I think it should be compulsory over the age of 10 in Ireland to have to spend four or five hours, for four days, in a Garda station.

“Come out after that and tell me that the Gardai are useless. After you see what I’ve seen, you won’t say that.”

It comes after the Gardai played a huge part in the return of Twink’s beloved dog Teddy from a home in Tallaght.

Previously Twink told Goss.ie that she thought Teddy was killed after being missing for so long.

“We had been working flat out, with no sleep. Then… out of the blue the main sergeant said to me, ‘You’re out of the picture now, this is now a criminal investigation.’”
