EXCLUSIVE! Twink reveals who she thinks is going to win Dancing With The Stars

Twink has revealed who she thinks will win RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars.

The actress chatted to Goss.ie about the show and said that she thinks Fair City’s Aoibhín Garrihy will dance her way to the top

“She’s got the dancers build – she’s actually tall for a dancer but she’s elegant, she nails the steps and she’s got an air of sophistication about her that she, with work, could be a pro dancer,” Twink said.

The entertainer explained that Aoibhín was a former pupil of hers and she has high hopes for the blonde beauty.

“She’s got the comedy element with her facial expressions in the cute numbers, she’s just got it,” she told Goss.ie.

“I have to say, if I was to be very fair, and this is not to diss Des [Cahill], Katherine [Lynch], Teresa [Mannion] or any of the others, they’re all just giving it their all and you can’t fault people who give it there all.”

“But on a strict criteria, I’d have to say Aoibhín and Denise [McCormack] of the amateurs show they can dance – I think with more work they could make professional dancers.

“I could tell from day one that somewhere along the line Denise had dance lessons.

“You can tell she got a dance training young, she’s got an edge that’s very good.”

The mother-of-two also praised some of the show’s other stars admitting that “it’s not fair to just single out [Aoibhín.]”

Twink  talked about GAA star Aidan O’Mahony and his skill on the dance floor along with Katherine Lynch’s efforts.

“I think he’s very good for a guard and an athlete, one doesn’t expect the garda siochána or footballers to have fancy feet.”

“Katherine’s playing a blinder, who knew she could dance and she’s lost so much weight, she looks lovely in the dresses.

“It’s not fair to keep going with individuals, I loved Thalia Heffernan, I was gutted she went.”

Twink also gushed about the professional dancers – in particular Des Bishop’s Giulia Dotta, who were voted off two weeks ago by the public despite receiving the third highest scores of the night.

“My number one star, male or female, pro or amateur, of the whole show, and if I were to be honest and say she’s 90% of the reason I tune in, is Giulia.

“She’s a f**king minx, she’s got the limes, the looks, she’s a dancer from heaven.

“And there’s a super little Irish one in there, Karen [Byrne] – she’s gutsy and ballsy,” she added.

Watch Dancing With The Stars this Sunday from 6.30pm on RTÉ 1.
