Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews has taken on a Aidan Turner’s famed scything scene from BBC drama Poldark.
Vying to make his toned torso as recognisable as the Irish actor’s, the reality TV star transformed into the character for a new Christmas photoshoot for Heat Magazine.
“I hope I’m doing him justice. It’s always odd getting your kit off for photos,” he said.

“I once went as Death to a party and handled a scythe, but it has nothing on this one.”
Tallaght native Aidan recently opened up about the infamous scene – admitting he didn’t find it gratuitous.
“But it’s kind of common to see that photograph when you open a paper now,” he told the Telegraph.
“Oh I don’t know. I don’t think about it much at all. It wasn’t a gratuitous scene at all. It was in keeping with the vibe of the show.”
