Hunky Irish actor Jack Hickey is joining the cast of Emmerdale.
The London-based actor has acted in high-profile shows such as Game of Thrones, Jericho and Penny Dreadful.
His latest role in Emmerdale stars him as Carly Hope’s ex Matt, who storms into the soap confronted her for not telling him their baby son had died.

Furious Carly tells him he lost the right to know about their child after he walked out on them, before she’d even given birth.
His highest profile role to date was as a junior inspector in gothic drama Penny Dreadful in which he starred alongside Sam Neill, Josh Hartnett and Billie Piper.
He also had a small role in series five of Game of Thrones, as swordsman Young Bravo.
