Looks like summer is over in London, it rained for an entire week!!! All the while I had family sending me pictures of perfect sunny days back home in Ireland.
I’ve started online shopping for cosy jackets and cute jeans, that’s when you know it’s all drawing to a close!!
Summer Clear Out
Speaking of clothes I had a MASSIVE clear out this week, which ended up in the spare bedroom looking much a like a dumping ground!
I have to try on things before I put them in the donation bag which means I end up keeping things I don’t need thinking I might wear that here, I might wear that there!! I have a little separation anxiety I think haha.

Why I’m team Kim Kardashian
So looks like Mrs Kim K is on everyone’s lips again this week, much like any other week in any other year since her meteoric rise to fame.
After a friend posted a quote picture on her Twitter which stated, your idol vs my idol, with Kim Kardashian to the left and Olympic sportswoman Ronda Rousey to the left, I light heartedly replied “Kim K all day” to which I received a barrage of abuse.
It seems that anyone with a slight disliking of the Kardashian clan jump straight on the “she’s only famous from a sex tape” bandwagon.

And you know what, so be it, we’ve all done some dumb stuff.
She could have had the unfortunate leaking of a private video tape, ran and hidden herself away and then only ever have been remembered for that, instead she faced the fire, kept on pushing through the criticism and now has a very enviable business empire, she turned something very negative into a positive and that alone has to be admired!
And I’m sure some of the folks out there calling her out for her evil past have at one point or another dabbled in the making of a saucy recording with a partner at one point in time, theirs just didn’t make it to the World Wide Web!
I still maintain that putting yourself in the public eye is essentially forgoing your right to complain about people’s opinion of you.

You will be dissected and picked apart and that’s just how it goes.
I remember when I was in the Big Brother house and I came out to find that every single person, there mother, cousin and cat had an opinion of me.
I thought who are you to have an opinion about me, you don’t know me, but the reality was that I was the one who offered myself up for that scrutiny in probably one of the most public and unforgiving ways!
Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying all hail Kim, everything she does is amazing, I didn’t particularly like the execution of her “pregnancy proof” picture, I thought the picture was fine, had she been showing of what a beautiful pregnancy she was having but the fact that it was to prove to people that it was real, living in the pressure cooker that she lives in she may have felt it necessary or perhaps we have all just fallen for yet another clever publicity stunt.
Whatever is it, love her or hate her, we’re still talking!!

It’s wedding fever over load this of late! my long time good friend Joanna Fitzpatrick is getting married! So happy she has found her mister right! She’s going to be a stunning bride!
Congrats Jo!! She really is a beautiful bride to be.
I have been extension free for a whole week and for any of you gals who are extension addicts like myself, you’ll know how I’m feeling, pretty naked!!

As much as this week of au natural has been ….um…. great, I think I need to get my self back to Ceira Lambert’s salon for a gorgeous Gold Fever hair make over as soon as possible!
I’ve been wearing Gold Fever for a while now and love them, I’ve always gone to Ceira Lambert – she’s fantastic so I need to jet back to Ireland ASAP and get my look sorted.
I’ve added in a few highlights recently and I’m changing my look up a tiny bit. What do you think ??

I’ve seen the fantastic star line up of guest speakers, Rosanna Davison, Marisa Carter and Lisa Fitzpatrick add to that all the goodies that will be given away! I was so sad to be missing this particular date due to work commitments but have been informed by the lovely Ali Ryan, editor here at Goss.ie ,that there are many more planned for the future which is very exciting news!
