Martin King has landed a major slot on daytime radio.

The weatherman has snagged himself a new 9am to 1pm slot with Dublin’s Q102.

The 53-year-old will continue to work for TV3 while he embarks on this new career venture.

Q102 boss Dave Kelly told The Irish Sun, “Martin’s personable style compliments the Q102 audience. We can’t wait to get him on air March 6th.”

The Group Programme Director of Wireless Operations in Dublin, added King “fitted Q102, audience to a tee.”

The presenter has worked for Today FM, and 98fm in the past, but his radio career goes back to pirate stations including The Big D.
