Former Xpose star Michelle Doherty has insisted she won’t be coming back to TV – choosing to become a full-time mum.
The ex-Phantom DJ vowed to be a “mum, not an employee” after giving birth to son Max in August.
Now the 35-year-old will stay away from broadcasting for as long as financially impossible for herself and husband Mark O’Shea.

She said: “I am a mum first and foremost. I want to be with Max all the time, I plan on doing so as long as it is financially viable.
“I am nowhere near thinking about jumping back into TV and radio. This is the most crucial time of Max’s life and I want to be there for it.
“Mark agrees, so once we are okay financially, I’ll be a mum, not an employee, for as long as possible.”
And Michelle has truly swapped her showbiz lifestyle for motherhood.

“I’ve only ventured out once or twice since Max was born. I was adamant I’d not get too comfy, spending the day in my PJs at home,” she told the Sunday World.
“So the three of us headed to a coffee shop the other day. It’s those little milestones that are now what I yearn for.”
