Is Dee Devlin set for RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars?

RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars has been recommissioned for a second series – and fans of the show are already speculating about next year’s star-studded line-up.

According to the Irish Mail on Sunday, RTÉ bosses already have their eye on some big names – including UFC star Conor McGregor’s partner Dee Devlin, who gave birth to their first child just three months ago.

Footballer Robbie Keane’s wife Claudine is also on the list, but this could be an unlikely booking as Robbie announced earlier this week that he’s set to make the move to India.

An insider has also revealed that producers are looking to secure former rugby international Frankie Sheahan as a contestant.

“Dancing With The Stars got commissioned a few weeks ago. Nobody has been confirmed and we have only made tentative approaches to lots of people,” an insider said.

“Obviously, Dee Devlin and Claudine Keane would be huge for the show. We’d also love to see people like Yvonne Connolly and Anna Daly in sequins. But we are a long way off finalising a line-up.”

The show, which pulled in average audience ratings of 584,000, is a huge commitment for celebs as the series runs for 12 weeks.
