Last night, Fair city’s Katy finally returned  home after being missing for over a year.
She was reunited with her family in Carrigstown, after being held in captivity.
The storyline has gripped the nation for months, with fans of the show wondering if she would ever be freed.

Though Katy is back, it looks like its only the beginning.
Katy stated that the reason  she was kidnapped was because Emmet had raped Ciarán’s sister.
The highly anticipated episode ended looking like the effects of the Katy Kidnapping storyline are only beginning to set in in Carrigstown.
Johnny Ward, who played Katy’s capture, recently told Goss.ie he would be said to see the storyline end:
