THIS is how much top Irish bloggers are making on fashion and beauty masterclasses

Fashion and beauty masterclasses have become seriously popular in the blogging and beauty industry over the past few years.

Major Irish influencers such as Pippa O’Connor, Suzanne Jackson, Marissa Carter and Joanne Larby have launched masterclasses that have seen hundreds of women descend upon hotels across Ireland for fashion and beauty advice.

Aside from that, the beauty events have gone down a hit as an enjoyable girls day out, as guests are usually treated to afternoon tea and luxury goodie bags on the day.

And now, the Irish Mail on Sunday has revealed that the hugely popular events are netting serious profits, and the organiser can earn more than €30,000 for just one weekend’s work.

The more expensive events would see 300 attend at €100 each, or €30,000 a day.

The Irish MoS has also reported that after 23% VAT you have €23,100, but then room hire is about €7,500 a day, ticketing €1,200, models €250 each or €1,000 for four, advisers €500, and goodie bags cost about €120 a day.

Allowing around €1,000 for sundry costs, that would leave just over €11,000 of the €23,100 as profits per day – or €33,000 for a three-day weekend.

For example, Pippa O’Connor’s Fashion Factories are so successful that a three-day event in May at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin attracted more than 1,000 ladies at a charge of €100 a head.
