Conor McGregor has confirmed that he WILL fight Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas later this summer.
After months of speculation, the UFC star and the boxing champ revealed the news on social media last night.
The pair will go head-to-head at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26 – and Conor is expected to make $100 million from the bout.
Confirming the news on his social media accounts, the Crumlin native mocked 40-year-old Floyd’s age by posting a side by side picture of himself and Floyd Snr.

Conor simply captioned the snap, “THE FIGHT IS ON.”
Speaking with US network Sport Centre, UFC boss Dana White confirmed that the fight will be a pay-per-view event through the premium cable channel Showtime.
He also revealed that Conor will weigh-in at 154 pounds, and said that the MMA fighter is “100 percent positive he will win this fight”.
The fight will be a 12-round match with both men using 10 ounce gloves.
